It will not hurt, but does not work. Giving a lot of help to nibble. Small breeds are known for bad teeth, look at all the Crested win ugly dog contests. Plus, they hold no teeth to the tongue
ReplyDeleteThe best prevention is regular cleaning. Yes, it's expensive, but it is hard in a good veterinarian.
I'm interested in seeing the answers. My two older dogs have health problems, do not appreciate the danger that the benefits of a dental anesthetic. As small and brachyphalic two races was almost inevitable that the developed periodontal disease in old age, despite brushing and chewing. Antibiotics are the pulse, which helps prevent infection, but does nothing for the current calculation, or bad breath.
