It is remarkable that experts offer this option for paying customers. I have tiles for almost 15 years, and this is my position on the epoxy grout.
ReplyDeleteIf you are the kind of owner who cleans your bathroom or shower often, and is ready to re-seal the tiles and joints every 6 months, without fail, and regular grout sealer is good enough for you. May be spots, and enter the sealant over time. It sealing grout 100% waterproof. Also penetrating sealers. The solution for the home or in the normal movement of the crack grout and cleaning cleanliness over time, some of the mortar over time eliminate, requiring new grout. You can not disappear just because tip is refinishing / darker over time, and the new mortar obvious.
Neve epoxy groutR must be sealed. It is resistant to cracking from settlement movement from home. They almost never on the ground. Dirt on the surface of the nozzle is withdrawn dirt and cleaning. No matter how many brush will not damage or remove the epoxy grout. Although not 100% waterproof, resistant to water is much more than a normal slurry seal. The color is much more evenly and be consistent.
Even if it costs more to buy, and it takes longer in operation, which will last the life of the tile. No one can say that with regular milk. It's worth the extra money.
Installation of tiles and sales for years, like epoxy grout, I offer my clients and give them the option not to use it, not worth the money costs, and a good seal and its application to the manufacture's recommendation would not be necessary to seal them so often.
ReplyDeleteA good primer for housing in normal usage should be at least 2 years before submitting a new application and the application of grout sealer is easy and does not take long
